Madrid-based DJ and selector Raquel Mendiguren, known as Mendi, has built a distinctive path within the techno scene through her intuitive and emotional approach to music. Her background in classical and world music gave her a broad sonic sensitivity that later evolved into her fascination for underground techno.

Her sets —deep, hypnotic and emotionally charged— reflect a constant search for connection: between sound and body, between rhythm and feeling. Known for her refined selection and emotional intelligence on the dancefloor, Mendi creates immersive journeys that invite collective introspection and release.

Over the years, she has performed in iconic venues such as Cassette, Stardust, Synth, Cabra Negra and Elecktra Club, and at festivals and clubs including Rebirth, Kommune, Entity, Lanna Club, LAUT, MadCool and Replay Sunset Parties.

In 2023, she debuted as a producer with “Sandstone” on 30D Records, featured in the V/A Eleventh Contact alongside Dasha Rush and Adriana Lopez —a milestone marking her evolution from selector to complete artist. Outside the booth, Mendi cultivates a personal and spiritual growth practice that influences her musical expression.
