Muévelo is the next single release from Barcelona’s based label Abundance, signed by Rumbler and accompanied by remixes by John Heaven, Parallax and Unknown Cultures, which will be released on October 1 in a digital version and in a very limited edition on dubplate format via Bandcamp.
After a series of remixes published in recent years, Muévelo represents the first original track released by the Catalan artist. A song with great influence from breaks and favela funk, which samples a forgotten reggaeton vocal, rediscovered through the Discogs search engine. Rumbler has spent years forging a reputation as a DJ thanks to his restlessness and passion for electronic music, which has led him to perform around the globe, from China to Vietnam, England or Singapore. An active member of Abundance as well in the Iberian Juke label, his mixes have been aired on major radio stations such as Rinse France, Operator Radio, Reform Radio or Reprezent, as well as at festivals such as Sónar, Outlook, Music and Dealers or L’Estrany.
Strongly influenced by sound system, rave & club cultures, Rumbler has always been passionate about broken beats and overdriven basses. Starting to collect jungle and drum and bass vinyls around 2010, his curiosity led him to explore different genres and play with BPM changes, making it a signature feature in his sessions. The surprise factor and the value for the blend, as a resource to create something new through two songs, champion him, and it is something that he tries to transmit equally with his productions.

The original song is accompanied by three remixes signed by close artists & friends. John Heaven, member of the Mainline crew and front man of the Mainline Magic Orchestra, takes it to his ground, signing a dawn-ready tech house tool with power to lift anyone out of their chair at 7 am.
Madrid’s techno best kept secret Parallax brings her unmistakable style with a mix between dark techno, breaks and powerful distorted bass lines, in an ideal remix for peak time at any warehouse party.
The most experimental remix comes from Catalan producer Unknown Cultures which mixes perfectly the essence of the song around footwork and jungle patterns driven by massive techno kicks on his ‘Headache’s Mix’.

Muévelo produced and composed by Pablo R. Alberdi (Rumbler)
Remixes by Joan Serinyà (John Heaven), Tamara Muñoz (Parallax) and Oriol Peña (Unknown Cultures)

Parallax has recorded a new podcast in collaboration with Phase.ctv for Emergencia Emergente
This is a campaign in which 90 artist (women and non-binary) from different artistic backgrounds have collaborated synergetically with one aim: creating, developing, and growing a network of emerging female artists and creators all over the globe.
The whole purpose of this idea is to support, share and give exposure to young talent.
The project englobes 30 photographers, 30 artists in charge of customising t-shirts, and 30 DJs who will create and stream a techno podcast.
The whole purpose of this synergy of talent and artistic disciplines is to sell the T-shirts and generate a level of income that will be donated to a charity (still to be defined but potentially for those that support trans women and minorities in art).
